NRWA Teams

Federal Programs

The Federal Programs team consists of multiple federally funded programs through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA.) The Circuit Rider, Energy Efficiency, Training & Technical Assistance, Wastewater, and Source Water Protection are just some of the programs that allow us to continue providing clean, safe drinking water and wastewater services to rural Americans every day. The Apprenticeship / Workforce Development program help us fill the need for highly trained water and wastewater specialists across the United States.

Resource Development

The Resource Development team includes Corporate and Supporting Membership, Sponsorship, Communications and Events. This team facilitates outreach between NRWA and our current and prospective members, and all those who are dedicated to the ongoing support for rural water and wastewater.

Information Technology

he Information Technology (IT) team is essential in providing support to all employees at NRWA, especially those who operate and manage the federal programs. NRWA has collected some of the most vast and accurate data in the water and wastewater sector in America, this team analyzes the numerous sets of data and ensures NRWA is up to date with the latest technology and innovation, as well as providing oversight to ensure all data and information collected by NRWA is secure.


The Accounting team is an integral part of NRWA, comprising of day-to-day tasks such as accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as specific programs such as the Rural Water Loan Fund (RWLF.) The Accounting team ensures that NRWA continues to operate in a financially responsible manner and that we may continue to offer our services to rural America.
