Our Technical Assistance

Safe drinking water and clean wastewater treatment are vital to the health and safety of Americans, and together, NRWA and State Rural Water Associations are making a difference across the country.

We believe this assistance is most effective when it comes from a trusted individual who is willing to travel directly to the community, has the technical expertise to remedy the specific issue with existing treatment and infrastructure, and can be available on-site at any time.

Through our technical assistance programs, more than 65 million people were impacted in the year 2023. Mississippi and New York, 2023

After a tornado struck the town of Rolling Fork, Mississippi Rural Water Association Circuit Rider JoJo Grammer, jumped in to help the water operator stop a chlorine leak at the water tower.

Morris Coolidge, New York Rural Water Association Circuit Rider, built a portable water filtration trailer for a town in need during his own time with his own tools.
