NRWA Awards Criteria
  • All state associations are automatically considered for all award categories.

  • Each award has specific criteria to be scored.

  • Past award winners will be eligible for the following year.

  • Provides the option for multiple awards in a category and special awards, as the committee deems appropriate.

Process:

  1. Committee members will abstain from scoring their own state.

  2. Each state is rated by individual committee members, independent of other members.

  3. The Committee will individually view association web pages throughout the year starting in January.  This process will be continuous.  It is expected the individual committee members will view web pages several times throughout the year to arrive at a score for each award category.

  4. At an annual committee meeting, the committee will score each award from publications and training agendas available at NRWA.  (We encourage your state to place NRWA on your mail list for all magazines, newsletters and training agendas.)

  5. The scores from the web page evaluation and the scores from publications and agendas will be combined to form the basis for selecting the award winner.

  6. Awards, Purpose & Evaluation Criteria -  (Each criteria rated on a scale of 1-10)
