OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At its Annual Technical Conference and Exposition held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Rural Water Association (ORWA) presented Boyd Hughes with the 2009 Man of the Year Award for his efforts in the development and advancement of rural water in rural Oklahoma.
      Hughes is a farmer/rancher from Freedom, Oklahoma. His father, Oscar Hughes, helped organize Woodward County RWD #1 in the 1960s.
